A fresh, absorbing dramatisation of the true story of Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged in Britain. The year was 1955, and her racy lifestyle and tragic affair with an upper class racing driver was a tabloid reporter's dream, and raised many social issues that are relevant today.
